How Do I Handle Pitcher Changes In The Middle Of An At Bat?

Sun Oct 05, 2014 7:57 pm

Great question from one of our users - You may have noticed that when you change pitchers the 'count' (balls, and strikes) get changed to zero.

However, with pitch count rules and other issues we often have pitchers change the middle of an at bat. After adding the new pitcher, and going to the pitch counter, simply touch the "Set" button and select the balls and strikes numbers that match the current count.

Typically the umpire will announce the count so that the new pitcher, and the batter know what the count is so it's not hard to get the count set right on your pitch counter.

Also, if you accidentally press 'out' instead of safe, you can set the outs back to the right number with the same button.
